Commercially prepared food is not permitted into the park. However, we have a variety of tasty food options available at our Farmhouse Restaurant. Please enquire on our Contact form or call us on 13 33 86 for further information if you have any special dietary requirements.
All children aged 13 years and under must be accompanied by an adult into Paradise Country.

The Gold Coast has a delightful subtropical climate. Average daytime temperature during summer (December to February) is 28 degrees Celsius. The average temperature in winter (June to August) is a very mild 21 degrees Celsius. The Gold Coast averages almost 300 days of sunshine per year.

Comfortable clothing and footwear is recommended for your visit to Paradise Country. Hats and sunscreen are recommended year round. A light jacket may be required in winter. The parks are a casual, family-oriented environment. Ensuring that the parks are family friendly is an important part of the Paradise Country experience.

Yes, there is free and accessible car parking however there are a limited number of car parking spaces so please arrive earlier in peak periods to avoid disappointment.

Paradise Country is located on the Gold Coast in the south east corner of the Australian State of Queensland. The Gold Coast is a very popular holiday destination for Australians and overseas travellers with some of the world’s safest and most beautiful beaches, international standard accommodation, world class shopping and dining, and a picturesque hinterland. It is also Australia’s theme park capital, home to Sea World, Sea World Resort, Warner Bros. Movie Wold, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country.

You can get to the Gold Coast by road, rail and air. It has its own International and Domestic Airport, with Brisbane International and Domestic Airports about an hour’s drive away.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks would like to advise residents of private functions and after hours events that will be held throughout the year at Warner Bros. Movie World, Wet’n’Wild and Paradise Country. To view upcoming events or if you have any queries in regard to noise during these after hours events, please view here.


Industry discounts are available to select Industry employees upon meeting certain criteria, please apply online here . If your request is approved, you will need to show proof of employment (a business card or letter from employer) plus photographic ID at the theme park ticket booths.

To qualify for reduced admission entry as a Pensioner, one of the following criteria must be met:

Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Pension Concession Card (PPC), including listed dependants will qualify for the pension rate. This does not include holders of Australian Health Care Cards. The Australian Pension Concession Card is issued to recipients of the following pension payments:

  • Sole Parenting Pension
  • Mature Aged Pension
  • Disability PensionHolders of valid New Zealand Government issued Superannuation Card (SC). The card holder and listed dependants will qualify for the pension rate.
  • Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Seniors Card.
  • Holders of a valid New Zealand Seniors Card.
  • Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Veteran Affairs Pension Card.
  • Any person 65 years of age or older - proof of age is required.

Disabled rates are available for purchase at the ticket booths only on the day of your visit upon the presentation of a State or Commonwealth authority's Disability Pension card. A carer accompanying a disabled guest for the sole purpose of assisting that guest will be admitted free of charge with a paying guest providing a current Carer's Card (or similar) issued only by relevant State or Commonwealth authorities is produced.

Guests who produce a Companion Card ( are entitled to one (1) free of charge Companion Ticket so that their companion can provide care and support during the visit. Companion tickets are available at the Front Gate Admissions booths only on presentation of the card on the day of the visit. Please refer to Conditions of Entry for further information.

Guests who produce a Carer’s Card issued by relevant State or Commonwealth authorities (as opposed to a Companion Card) will be entitled to a discounted admission rate on presentation of the card at the park Admission booths.

Rates are available for holders of a State or Commonwealth authority's Disability Pension card at the ticket booths on the day of your visit upon card presentation.

Guests with any special needs should visit Guest Services upon arrival and our friendly team will provide assistance in planning their day.

All Village Roadshow Theme Parks offer parking for guests with disabilities. Limited wheelchair hire is available at all parks however during peak periods we recommend to call ahead to Guest Services to book in advance of your visit.

Services & Facilities

Smoking, vaping and use of e-cigarettes are permitted in the park’s designated smoking areas only, no food or beverage may be consumed in designated smoking areas under Queensland Law.

Paradise Country offers disabled parking, restrooms and wheelchair access. Wheelchair hire is complimentary. A form of ID is required. A limited number of Wheelchairs are available for hire so we recommend you pre-book with guest services.

Paradise Country welcomes certified Assistance Dogs on-site. However, due to the nature of the Park, there are a number of support measures which are in place to ensure the safety of guests, our people and the safety of our wildlife.

If you are planning a visit with an Assistance dog, please contact Guest Services on 07 55881607. We would appreciate you contact us 72 hours prior to your visit date to ensure that the relevant Wildlife and Guest Experience teams are notified.

Animals & Attractions

Places in Animal encounters & experiences are limited and can be pre-booked online or by telephoning Customer Connect on 13 33 86 (or +61 7 5519 6200 from outside Australia or Free Call 0800 123 386 within New Zealand). Program dates are generally released to be booked between 1 - 2 months in advance.

The theme park, and the Studios' management have no involvement with the productions and do not employ any cast or crew. The Studios are responsible for hiring out the facilities and each production is responsible for hiring their own personnel.
