Save a Mate Ranger program ages 6-13 years
Limited time only, school holidays program
Paradise Country admission included
Participants will be supervised at all times by a designated Paradise Country team member
Parents/guardians are not able to join the group. Please advise our team at the start of the program if any participants require medication throughout the course of the program so a plan can be made prior
Team members cannot hold onto or provide medications to participants throughout the program. Parents must return if child needs medication
Let us guide your wildlife-loving-child through a truly memorable and educational day at Paradise Country. Save a Mate Rangers (children aged 6-13 years) will work side-by-side with our Wildlife Keepers from 9:00am - 2:00pm taking part in daily duties like animal feeding and enrichment, park preparation and animal handling.
This program will allow Rangers to come face to face with incredible animals like kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian Devils, dingoes, koalas, marmosets, meerkats and more!
After a busy morning on the farm, Rangers can enjoy a delicious lunch beside the Marmoset Exhibit at the Farmhouse Restaurant. To remember your time as a Ranger, all participants will receive a printed koala photo and a Save a Mate cap. The program is fully supervised by a qualified Wildlife Keeper.
A Paradise Country supervisor will collect all participants from the Homestead at front entry.
Due to the behind the scenes nature of this program, family and friends are unable to join the participant as observers. If you would prefer to stay on site for the duration of the program please purchase a valid pass to enter the park.
There are a maximum of 10 children per program.
Save a Mate Ranger program is for children aged 6-13 years old.
Save a Mate Ranger runs from 9am to 2pm, 5 hours in total.
A Paradise Country supervisor will collect all participants from the Homestead at front entry.
As the day will be physical and hands-on with the animals we kindly request participants wear supportive enclosed footwear. We suggest participants wear long comfortable pants and long sleeves however this is not essential. No open toe footwear.
