NEW BABY FOR PARADISE COUNTRY!

A beautiful little female joey koala was born at Paradise Country last year.

Her mother Snoopy and father Peanut are part of the Paradise Country breeding program that was implemented three years ago, the program has successfully bred four joey’s in previous years, with the new female as number five.

A very big thanks to everyone who entered our baby koala naming competition, we received over 1000 great suggestions!

After much deliberation a name was selected and the new koala joey will be known as Pepper. With her Mum called ‘Snoopy’ and Dad ‘Peanut’ the judges decided that it was fitting to have a name of similar background; a derivative from the Snoopy cartoon series character ‘Peppermint’.

Pepper seems to be happy with her name and is more than content chewing leaves and hanging out with her Mum, Dad and friends in the beautiful surrounds of Paradise Country. We hope you get the chance to visit her soon.
